Seeking Alpha performed a deep-dive analysis of Crown Castle and its investment in the 5G revolution. According to the analysis, Crown Castle has moved toward fiber and small-cell communications sites, a different path than the profitable and predictable cell tower model. In the final valuation of their analysis, Brad Thomas stated: “There are still relatively few 5G capable devices, and the return on investments it hopes to receive remain fairly speculative. So it's important to factor any short-term bottom-line growth headwinds into CCI's fair value calculation.”
