FCC Democrats Set to Move on Net Neutrality, Broadband Subsidies

After Georgia’s runoff election secured control of the US Senate, the Democratic FCC is positioned to restore net neutrality rules and move quickly to expand broadband subsidies amid the pandemic. Crown Castle Board Member Ari Fitzgerald said Commissioner Jessica Rosenworcel is a lead contender for chairmanship, stating, “Whoever the chair is will be looking for ways to deploy all the resources available to help the administration get us through the pandemic.”
