Crown Castle aims to double small cell deployments in 2023: CEO
Crown Castle expects to double the rate of small cell deployments next year compared to the 5,000 nodes the firm originally expected to meet the growing demand from its customers. Crown Castle CEO Jay Brown stated, “This year, we’ll do about 5,000 nodes on air. And next year, we expect to do 10,000 on air. So really excited about what the growth is going to mean and certainly don’t feel like we’re coming toward the end of the build-out of 5G.”
