Crown Castle has made a multi-tiered investment in Chicago Scholars. Our sponsorship included support of the program’s Writing and Interview Lab Workshops aimed at helping students prepare for their college admissions process, as well as being a Gold Sponsor of the 17th Annual Onsite College and Leadership Forum, the organization’s signature event. The 2024 Onsite featured almost 3,000 admissions interviews between approximately 500 participating students and admissions officers from 119 colleges and universities, resulting in more than 660 college admission offers (including 273 same-day offers) and over $38.8 million in merit scholarship awards.

Over the last 28 years, Chicago Scholars has served more than 6,000 young leaders from all 77 neighborhoods of the city. Chicago Scholars have a 78% graduation rate from college, compared to only 48% of their peers in Chicago. Upon graduation, 43% of Chicago Scholars report they are employed at 4 times the federal poverty rate, and 67% of them can save for their futures.
