To close its digital divide, New York must change the status quo
New York has the opportunity to close its digital divide and expand broadband access with funding from the 2021 Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act. Roughly 2.6% of New Yorkers have been identified as underserved or unserved, many of whom live in remote regions where there are significant geographic and financial challenges when it comes to connectivity.
