Telecom company says new antennas on Woodstock tower will be 5G-capable
Crown Castle has plans to put 5G-ready antennas on the California Quarry cell tower in Woodstock (NY), replacing four antennas and adding two that would be used for the wider-bandwidth service. The article states, “‘The antennas that are going up are 5G-capable antennas,’ Crown Castle representative Richard Zajac said by phone on Friday. ‘So once they are installed and put up there, the carrier then has control and they can control whether or not they emit a 5G signal or not.’”
