Local businesses navigate pandemic through innovation

Rich Shrum for the Obsever Reporter notes as businesses have reacted to COVID-19 shutdowns and economic impact, they are leaning into new, sustainable ideas to support frontline workers as well as adjust to meet the changing conditions. Shrum states, “Crown Castle, one of Washington County’s biggest employers, has an onsite cafeteria for its employees. But because the vast majority of them, if not all, have been working at home since mid-March, the company used the cafeteria to provide meals for frontline workers.”
