Crown Castle Government affairs manager for Puerto Rico and Florida, Jessica Fernandez Ibarra, wrote an op-ed supporting Miami Mayor Suarez’s goals to position the city as a destination in which tech companies should set their roots, calling for the need to enhance connectivity and 5G infrastructure to maintain success. Ibarra stated, “Growing Greater Miami’s role and reputation as a technology and innovation hub goes hand-in-hand with the need and plan to expedite 5G deployment. 5G infrastructure will create a transformational long-term economic advantage for South Florida’s business community.”
