Better cell service coming to local US36 corridor
Crown Castle is funding a project along US 36 between Estes Park and Lyons (CO) to construct more cellular poles to expand broadband and 5G coverage in the area. To abide by the Colorado Department of Transportation’s Right-of-Way laws, Crown Castle “must compensate CDOT in some way. An agreement was reached to allow CDOT to access some of the fiber capacity for cameras and other traffic uses along the corridor.”
