90 New Trees Are Planted Along Buffalo Speedway

Over 200 Crown Castle volunteers from around the country joined Trees For Houston, planting 90 trees along Buffalo Speedway in Southwest Houston. Tuesday's tree planting was part of Crown Castle's ongoing community service program 'Connected by Good'. "We thank Crown Castle for their generosity in making this planting possible. It's particularly meaningful to be in District K following the passing of Council Member Green. He was a strong advocate for this community and a close friend to Trees For Houston," said Barry Ward, Executive Director, Trees For Houston. Trees are well known for reducing air pollution, but they can also help minimize noise and light pollution, and reduce stress. "We appreciate Trees for Houston and the City of Houston for partnering with us in our shared goal of maintaining the vitality of a city that we all love," said Jay Brown, CEO, Crown Castle.
